Support youth mobility
CycleFest is Youth en Route’s signature, community building event to spread awareness about our school programs and support our mission of delivery freedom and independence for youth.
What is CycleFest?
CycleFest is Youth en Route’s flagship community event — bringing together families, bike shops, local businesses, community organizations, and people who believe cycling is freedom.
With downtown streets activated for the day, CycleFest will feature:
- Kids Bike Trade Up
- Learn-to-Ride sessions
- Bike safety checks
- Community demos & exhibitions
- A trade show featuring local partners
- Cyclepalooza — our signature fundraising challenge
Every dollar raised supports youth cycling programs across Calgary.
Why It Matters
When young people have a bike — and the skills to use it safely — they gain independence, confidence, and connection to their community.
CycleFest helps remove barriers to mobility while building a more inclusive, active city.
